Apparels Weight Processing signed agreement with Bashundhara LPG

Little by little our environment is getting damaged. If we don't think about our environment, we could be at great risk in the future. Therefore, it is time to think about how to bring development in every sector without endangering the environment. With that in mind, Apparels Weight Processing Ltd. signed an agreement with Bashundhara LP Gas Limited, the country's largest and number one LP gas brand.

This information was given in a press release on Tuesday (June 14).

It notifies that, for the first time in Bangladesh LPG will be used in the apparel industry. The factory produces 65,000 pieces of readymade garments product daily. According to the agreement, Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd. will provide alternative fuel technical assistance to the factory for the next 10 years. The company will supply uninterrupted gas to the plant by permanently installing bulk LPG tankers. So far, Bashundhara LPG has been supplying LPG to more than 10 large industries.

In the signing ceremony Mr. Mahbub Alam (Chief Financial Officer), Mr. MM Jasim Uddin (COO, Brand & Marketing, Sector A, Bashundhara Group), Mr. Saad Tanvir (Head of HR), Engineer Mr. Zakaria Jalal (Head of Division, Sales), Mr. Sarwar Hossain Sohag (GM, Supply Chain Division), Mr. Mushfiqur Rahman (Secretary to Vice Chairman, Bashundhara Group) were present from Bashundhara LPG Gas Ltd. And from Md. Zillur Rahman Mridha (Group Managing Director), Mr. Taslim Ahmed (CEO), Mr. Amit Kanti (Director), Mr. Mujibul Islam (Company Secretary), Mr. Engineer Md. Kawsar Rahman (Head of Engineering Department) were present from Apparels Weight Processing Ltd.

Zakaria Jalal (Head of Division, Sales) said, this investment will be a milestone for Bashundhara LP Gas. Despite being the number one company in the market, we believe in diversified investments and in creating new fields. With that in mind, and the SDGs that we must achieve by 2030, we have taken the first step towards implementing the SDGs' 11 goals to make cities and human settlements inclusive, secure, resilient and sustainable.

Mr. MM Jasim Uddin (COO, Brand & Marketing, Sector A, Bashundhara Group) said that, Uninterrupted fuel supply is a significant part of the exportable industry. The current supply system of Bashundhara LP Gas is world renowned. Only we can ensure uninterrupted supply without causing any damage to nature.
