Children aged 5-12 will get Pfizer vaccines

Children aged between five to twelve will be inoculated Pfizer vaccine through birth registration. For this, one needs to register through Surokkha App to get vaccinated.

This information was given by Additional DG (P&D) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Meerjady Sabrina Flora at a discussion meeting held in the capital on Monday afternoon.

"I urge parents to get their birth registration done as soon as possible," she said. She also urged to follow the health rules at the sacrificial animal market.

Earlier, the United States provided another 4 million Pfizer vaccines to Bangladesh to combat corona. This information has been informed in a post on the verified Facebook page of the US Embassy in Dhaka.

It said the United States was proud to provide another four million (4 million) ready-to-use doses of Pfizer vaccine to Bangladesh. With the latest, the US has donated over 68 million vaccines to Bangladesh.
