Fire in Meghna Economic Zone, 7 units working

A fire broke out at a factory of Meghna Group's Fresh Company at Meghna Industrial Zone in Sonargaon of Narayanganj on Monday morning (July 4). Seven firefighting units are now working to control the blaze.

Narayanganj Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Abdullah Al Arefin said that they got a call of a fire at around 8:00 am. On information, seven units from different fire service stations rushed to the spot and have already started work to control the fire. 

The cause of the fire could not be known yet.
