Anti-drug operation in the capital, 46 arrested

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Crime and Intelligence Division has arrested 46 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs in an anti-drug operation in different parts of the capital.

They were arrested from 6 am on Sunday (July 3) to 6 am on Monday (July 4) in different police stations in the capital.

At the time of operation 3,112 pieces of yaba, 62 kg 30 grams of cannabis and 6 grams of heroin were recovered from them.

38 cases have been filed against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act.
