Anti-drug drive in the capital, 48 arrested

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 46 people for selling and consuming drugs in an anti-drug operation in different parts of the capital.

At the time, 10,773 pieces of yaba tablets, 39 kg 800 gm of cannabis, 232 gm of 164 puria heroin, 134 bottles of phensedyl and 20 narcotic injections were seized from them.

This information has been confirmed from the media branch of DMP.

They were arrested on Monday (July 4) from 6 am to 6 am on Tuesday (July 5) in different areas of the capital.

A total of 32 cases have been filed against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act.
