Another 2,716 education institutions brought under MPO

2,716 education institutions in the country have been brought under the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) scheme.

This information was given in a notification sent from the Ministry of Education on Wednesday (July 6).

According to the Ministry of Education, after the approval from the Prime Minister's Office, a decision has been taken to enroll 2,716 private educational institutions under MPO scheme. The Education Minister will give details in this regard at a press conference at 1 pm.

On September 30, the Ministry of Education issued a public notification to enroll private educational institutions (schools and colleges) in MPO. The notification asked to apply for MPO registration from October 10 to 31.
