July 16, 2007. Heavy rain of monsoon. All the sorrows of nature have come down as rain. The joint forces entered Sudha Sadan at 6 in the morning amid heavy rain. At 7:32 in the morning, members of the joint forces arrested Awami League President Sheikh Hasina and brought her out of Sudha Sadan. Earlier, there was a war like situation around Sudha Sadan. 2 thousand police, RAB and other forces surrounded Sudha Sadan. About 30 members of joint forces including police and RAB entered Sudha Sadan. Sheikh Hasina was steadfast and fearless at this time. She prayed her Fajr in the morning. Bangabandhu girl wearing a white saree faces the joint forces and wants to know why she is being arrested? Is there military rule imposed in the country? Joint force officers said that on June 13, businessman Azam J Chowdhury filed an extortion case against her at Gulshan police station. Sheikh Hasina is being arrested in that case. Sheikh Hasina did not get upset at all and spoke to her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, who is staying in the United States. Talked to younger sister Sheikh Rehana staying in UK. Spoke to Awami League Leader Advocate Sahara Khatun on legal issues. Sheikh Hasina also spoke to the then legal advisor Barrister Moinul Hossain during her arrest. Fearless, courageous Sheikh Hasina got into the car brought to arrest her. After that Awami League president had a long battle with civil controlled unelected government. By winning that battle, Sheikh Hasina brought democracy back in the country. The military-backed unelected government was eventually forced to hand over power to an elected government with a free, fair and impartial election because of Sheikh Hasina.

One-Eleven was created in the context of bad governance, corruption and looting of BNP. The BNP-Jamaat alliance won an absolute majority in the October 2001 elections. After that, Tarique Zia started implementing one blueprint after another to perpetuate the power from the first day. Immediately after the election, violence began against Awami League leaders and workers and minorities across the country. Their houses were burned, killed. 1 October 2001 to 10 October 2001 was a hellish festival of terror in Bangladesh. After that, the caretaker government system was made partisan from Hawa Bhavan. The constitution was amended so that former leader of BNP, Justice KM Hasan, became the head of the caretaker government. One and a half million fake voters were created. The Election Commission was turned into a joke. Moin U Ahmed was made the army chief, leaving seven men behind to keep the army on their side. On August 21, 2004, a grenade attack was carried out to make Awami League leaderless. All arrangements were made to ensure that BNP remained in power forever. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, Awami League at that time chose the path of movement to restore people's right to vote. The Awami League and BNP-Jamaat's stand-off made the streets violent. People's lives were plunged into a state of uncertainty and fear. At that time civil society, international circles and anti-democratic evil forces took the opportunity. BNP's stand on elections was firm. Civilians implement the blueprint to take over the country's power in the zealous mentality of staying in power at any cost. A military-backed caretaker government took power on January 11, 2007. There was a heated political situation across the country due to BNP's one-sided election efforts. The countrymen were angry with the activities of Dr. Yazuddin. In such a situation, the people of the country welcomed the army-backed government. People were relieved. But soon the true intentions of the One-Eleven government became clear. Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmad government's main objective was not a free, fair and impartial election but depoliticization. Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed's government started a campaign against politicians immediately after taking office. To prove that politicians are corrupt, became the main agenda of one-eleven government. Along with this, started the campaign against the businessmen. In the name of these operations, started defaming and blackmailing them. Proving that the civilized are saints and all the others are thieves and corrupts became the main target of Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed's government. one-eleven did not happen all of a sudden. It was a perfect execution of a long-standing plan by a section of the civil society. Influential countries including the United States were also associated with it. The main planner of One-Eleven was Dr. Muhammad Yunus. A trusted confidant of the Western countries. Arrangements were also made to give him the Nobel Prize so that Dr. Yunus is accepted in the country and abroad. Initiatives were also taken to form a political party with him. But the civil servants quickly realize that they will never be able to compete with politicians in a political battle. Because in the end, people of the country will put their trust in the politicians. The One-Eleven government therefore wanted to dominate a country without politics. And that's why all their attention was on the so-called cleansing campaign, not the election. Some greedy politicians were also involved in the One-Eleven scheme. In the hope of prosperity, they also started licking the feet of the civils. The 'political reform' formula of civils came from corrupt, cowardly politicians of Awami League and BNP. It was proposed to 'minus' the two leaders in this political reform formula. The editor of two influential Bengali and English newspapers was the inventor of the 'minus formula'. Everything was going according to plan. But only one person got in the way. Sheikh Hasina. She was the first to understand the true purpose of One-Eleven. For this reason, she reminded the work of caretaker government. On January 23, 2007, Sheikh Hasina demanded early elections and transfer of power to an elected government. Because of this, she was criticized by some of the Awami League leaders. Several heavyweight leaders protested such statements by the Awami League president. Everyone knows who opposed the Awami League president that day. Who wanted to undermine Sheikh Hasina by talking about democratization in the party. I don't want to embarrass them by pronouncing their name. Sheikh Hasina has come to where she is today by fighting against the tide. Civilians understood that Sheikh Hasina is the only obstacle to their long-term stay in power. Their lord and the international mentors also knew that if Sheikh Hasina is not removed, their plan will be implemented. This is why the initiative to remove Sheikh Hasina from politics began. Sheikh Hasina left the country for the United States on March 15, 2007 to see her son and daughter. Before her foreign journey, she was met by US Ambassador-in-Charge Geeta Pasi and India's High Commissioner in Dhaka, Pinak Ranjan Chakraborty. Awami League President said that she will return to the country within a month. She was supposed to return home on April 23. But on April 18, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a ban on the Awami League president's return to the country. It was the most abhorrent interference with the human rights of a citizen. Under no circumstances can a citizen be barred from returning to his country. On April 18, 2007, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a surprise press note banning Sheikh Hasina from returning to the country. The press note said, "Her return to the country poses a risk to the country's law and order, stability, public security and economic activities." But Sheikh Hasina is always brave. She survives by fighting against the odds. Awami League president announced to return to Dhaka on April 23 despite the government's ban. She came to London on April 19. This was the first challenge to the civil government. In this incident, the public opinion of the entire country went in favor of the Awami League president. New polarization also took place in the international arena. The government of Moin U Ahmed and Dr Fakhruddin was forced to retreat on April 26 in the face of intense criticism. The ban was lifted. Finally, Bangabandhu daughter won her first victory against the caretaker government. The presence of millions of people at the airport gave Sheikh Hasina new strength, courage. But civil servants are still adamant on the minus formula. Awami League president became their only target. They understood that no plan can be implemented when there is Sheikh Hasina. That's why they adopted a new plan. One after another cases were filed against Sheikh Hasina. It was understood that the sole aim of the caretaker government was to arrest Sheikh Hasina. Awami League president also understood that there was a conspiracy against her. That is why she continued to give the necessary messages to the people. Sheikh Hasina stood against arbitrary arrests, defamation of political leadership. She continued to demand the transfer of power to the people through quick elections. In such a context, Sheikh Hasina was arrested on this day of 2007. At that time, she was a symbol of democracy and freedom. By arresting her, the unelected government actually arrested democracy itself.

Sheikh Hasina fought alone with four strong opponents in one-eleven. The first opponent was a section of the civil society of this country. Those whose desire to sit in power is almost a permanent disease. They always want unelected rule. They have a strong dislike for democracy. In all the illegal, undemocratic military regimes in the country, they have earned rent as 'advisors'. In one-eleventh these civilists wanted to perpetuate power. That is why they wanted to remove Sheikh Hasina from politics. On July 16 they struck the final blow. Not only in One-Eleven, Sheikh Hasina has fought against corrupt civil servants and misogynists in her long political career. She is still fighting it.

Sheikh Hasina's second opponent in the one-eleventh was the international influential circle. Those who want to see Bangladesh as a loyal state. They want Bangladesh to rise and fall on their words. Accept their authority. This ruling class wanted to establish a permanent regime over Bangladesh with their pet civils. The father of the nation fought against these international tyrants. Now her daughter is continuing that fight. The fight to make Bangladesh independent and self-reliant is actually a fight against Western domination.

Sheikh Hasina's third opponent in 2007 was some confused leaders of her party. It is undeniable that the entire grassroots, field workers were united in favor of the party president. But many important leaders of Awami League took a position against Sheikh Hasina due to greed or misguidance. They actually took stand against politics.

Sheikh Hasina's fourth opponent was the influential media. Those who were constantly engaged in lies against Sheikh Hasina, against politics. They played a major role in the arrest of Sheikh Hasina. They nurture depoliticization in their heart.

Today if we look back 15 years then the question may arise; Is the July 16 fight over? Awami League is in power for three consecutive terms. Even after that, the conspiracy has stopped? Is Sheikh Hasina safe? Risk free? To answer this question, it is important to look around today. The fight that Sheikh Hasina fought against the four opponents to bring democracy back during the one-eleven period is still going on. Civilians of one-eleven are more active than ever. Every day they complain about different things. Seeing their concerns about democracy makes one feel sick. Good governance, human rights, elections, freedom of media, digital security law, civil society is spending a lot of sleepless nights on these issues. Questioning the development and progress of the country is the only job of civil society.

Western countries including the United States were active in the one-eleven. Now there is no protection in the role of the United States. The United States has taken a strategy to put Bangladesh under pressure as much as possible. European countries have also joined it. There is no end to their worries about Bangladesh. But do they see the condition of their own state? The Prime Minister has also publicly criticized US policy. The US and its allies are as active as one-eleven.

It is true that one-eleven gave absolute popularity to Sheikh Hasina in Awami League. Her fight against depoliticization in the one-eleven made her an undisputed leader in the party and in the country. Even after that how can I be sure that there is no new Mushtaq in the party. Awami League's new Mushtaqs may appear passive but can become dangerous at any time.

More active than one-eleven is now the mass media in favor of the minus formula. Sometimes they talk about Bangladesh becoming Sri Lanka, sometimes they scream about load shedding. A new mission to mislead the public with dire predictions about the economy is now visible.

Most importantly, after Sheikh Hasina's arrest in 2007, some dedicated people stood up. Some people like late Zillur Rahman, Begum Matia Chowdhury, late Sayed Ashraful Islam, Syed Modasser Ali, late Sahara Khatun stood beside Sheikh Hasina. Can you find people who stand up now? One-eleven is actually a symbol. The arrest of Sheikh Hasina on July 16 exposed the face of the unelected government. The power of One-Eleven was then defeated. But the war is not over. Now the power of One-Eleven is being reactivated. The conspiracy is still going on.
