Covid: 5 deaths, 1007 new cases recorded in 24 hrs

The Bangladesh government reported 1,007 more Coronavirus cases and five deaths in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of infections increased to 19,95,440 and the fatalities stood at 29,230. 

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Saturday.

The new cases were found after testing 7,351 samples in the past day.

During the period, 1,854 more patients recovered from the illness, taking the total recoveries to 19,22,977.
