1915 MW Load shedding in the country on Tuesday

Tuesday (July 19) was the first day of the area-based load shedding by the government. On this day, a total of 1 thousand 915 megawatts of load shedding took place across the country.

Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) Director of Public Relations Shamim Hasan informed this information on Tuesday (July 19) night.

He said, "We have produced a total of 12,442 MW of electricity against the demand of 14,400 MW. A load shedding of 1,915 MW was planned to meet the gap between demand and supply.
