Reasat Khaton is playing for Departivo Rayo Zuliano, a 2nd Division club in the South American country of Venezuela. The midfielder previously played for clubs in Germany, Northern Ireland, Albania and Wales and other countries.

Reasat is also the first Bangladeshi to play in a South American country. He said, 'It is an eternal pride for me that I can represent Bangladesh here. I'm enjoying myself.'

The football fans of the country should have been happy for such an achievement of Reasat. But instead there is no shortage of their grief. The reason is obvious. This talented footballer has not yet played in the Bangladesh national team jersey.

Reasat came to Bangladesh in 2013. But due to injury, he did not play in the national team at that time. After a couple of years in 2015, Reasat was again called to the national team. However, for unknown reasons, Reasat could not wear the jersey of the national team.

But Reasat still dreams of playing in the Bangladesh national team. He said, 'I am always ready to prove myself. I love Bangladesh. If I get a chance to play in the national team, I will definitely take that opportunity.’
