Chief Justice called a full court meeting in the afternoon

Chief Justice Hasan Faiz Siddiqui called a full court meeting to decide the new schedule of the court.

A full court session will be held at the Judges' Lounge of the Supreme Court on Tuesday (23 August) at 4 pm. Appellate and High Court judges will participate in the meeting.

Supreme Court Spokesperson Muhammad Saifur Rahman said that the Chief Justice has called a full court meeting to determine the new schedule of all the courts of the country including the Supreme Court. Full court meetings are the judges' own forum for speaking. Various policy-making decisions are taken in a full court meeting.

Earlier on Monday (August 22), the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification about the schedule of government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions for saving electricity.
