Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left for India's capital
New Delhi on a four-day state visit at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister left Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal
International Airport for New Delhi on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines VVIP flight
at 10 am on Monday (September 05).
The flight is scheduled to arrive at New Delhi's Palam
Airport at 12 noon local time.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will meet Indian President Droupadi
Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar during
her visit to New Delhi.
During this visit, the issues of trade, energy, common river
water distribution and cooperation in solving the Rohingya crisis will get more
importance. Those concerned are expecting that several agreements and
memorandums of understanding will be signed between the two countries during
this visit.
The two countries are giving special importance to this
visit to strengthen relations and mutual cooperation.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is accompanied by the Minister
of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque, Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Railway Minister Nurul Islam
Sujon, Prime Minister's Economic Affairs Adviser Dr. Mashiur Rahman, Prime
Minister's Advisor on Private Industry and Investment Salman Fazlur Rahman,
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, State
Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Information and
Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for Water Resources
Zahid Farooq.
A delegation of the country's top businessmen including FBCCI President Md Jasim Uddin, former FBCCI Director and Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan is visiting New Delhi with the Prime Minister.
