BNP to follow the ideology of traitor?

Shah Moazzem Hossain. Vice Chairman of BNP. This veteran politician passed away at 9:30 pm on Wednesday night at his home in Gulshan. His first funeral prayer was held in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan today at 11 am. Nazrul Islam Khan, a member of BNP's standing committee, said that BNP will move forward according to the ideals of Shah Moazzem Hossain. Since then, the question has arisen in the political arena that, will the BNP then be led by the ideology of a traitor? Because Shah Moazzem Hossain is known as a traitor in the political arena. His ideals were treachery, deceit and murder.

Shah Moazzem Hossain's political career started with Chhatra League. He became the leader of Chhatra League in favor of Bangabandhu, the father of the nation. This veteran politician was elected Member of Parliament in 1970 and 1973 elections. After independence, he was elected as a chief whip in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's Parliament. He was elected Chief Whip for the second time after the 1973 election. But later he betrayed Bangabandhu. This leader had good relations with those involved in the 75 killings and jail killings. After the assassination of Bangabandhu, Shah Moazzem Hossain attended the ministerial meeting of murderer Mushtaq.

In the eighties of political change, Shah Moazem Hossain joined the Jatiya Party and became the Secretary General of the Jatiya Party, Minister of the Ershad Government, Deputy Leader of the Parliament and Deputy Prime Minister. He joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP during the last four-party coalition government. He was last serving as the Vice-Chairman of BNP.
