CoU BCL committee dissolved

Bangladesh Chhatra League, the student wing of the ruling Awami League, has dissolved its Comilla University unit committee.

A statement, signed by BCL central committee president Al Nahian Khan Joy and its general secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya, was issued in this regard On 30th September (Friday).

It was notified in the notice that as the committee of Comilla University Chhatra League has been expired so it’s being dissolved. Moreover, it was also said that whoever is interested for the post of president and general secretary of upcoming committee must submit their cv to the responsible people within next Ten working days.

The responsible authority to whom cv should be submitted includes Arrangements and plan secretary of BCL Saddam Hossain, Sub-public education secretary Nahidul Islam Nahid and Sub-cultural secretary Fahim Islam Limon.

Though the cancellation notice of Comilla University affiliated chhatra league committee has been removed from the official facebook page of Bangladesh Chhatra league after a few hours of publishing. Yet, it still appread in the facebook wall of central BCL president Al-Nahiyan Khan Joy.

About committee cancellation the Sub-cultural secretary (central committee) Fahim Islam Limon said, ' The decision of cancellation of this committee has been made from the central committee. The notice is authentic.'

On the other hand, affiliated chhatra league Comilla University president Eleas Hossen Sabuj posted in his facebook account that, 'The notice of committee cancellation of Comilla University chhatra league is not authentic.This notice is for CUET where our University’s name appeared by mistake. If the committee is cancelled will be announced soon through varified chhatra league facebook page.'

On this statement of Eleas Hossen Sabuj Central BCL arrangements & plan secretary Saddam Hussein said, ' Sabuj posted a misleading information. The published notice is authentic & this is of Comilla University affiliated chhatra league. There’s no doubt. Till now this is true that this committee has been announced abolished. If further any changes appear it will also be notified via formal notice from Bangladesh Chhatra league.'

This bidirectional approach of Chhatra league spreaded confusion among chhatra league activists of Comilla University.
