EC in meeting with DCs, SPs

The election commission is on a meeting with deputy commissioners and superintendents of police of all 64 districts ahead of the zilla parishad election.

The meeting started at 10 am on Saturday (October 8) in the auditorium of the Election Commission Auditorium.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal presided over the meeting. Apart from DCs and SPs, Senior Secretary of Public Security Division under Ministry of Home Affairs and Inspector General of Police are present in the meeting.

After the formation of the current commission under the leadership of Kazi Habibul Awal, this is the first meeting with field administration officials.

The commission has already unveiled its action plan for holding the 12th parliamentary polls.
