CoU halls reopen tomorrow

Comilla University (CoU) authorities have decided to reopen the residential halls from tomorrow (October 9). Due to the, clashes between two factions of the Bangladesh Chhatra League of CoU unit on Sunday (2 October) authorities have shut down residential halls for an indefinite period.

The university administration take the decision in an meeting held on Sunday (8 October).

"The halls of the university will be reopened tomorrow on October 9 at 12 noon, only valid resident students will be able to enter the hall and the university examinations will be suspended from October 10 to October 17. the university's own transport and university's teachers, officials and employees personal  transports will be allowed. On the other hand, All outsiders transports shall not enter the campus without the permission of the authorities.

University hall provosts said that, 'only those who have valid ID card can enter the hall. In this case, it has been decided that temporary ID cards will be issued to those who do not have ID cards. Provosts of each hall will be responsible for issuing temporary ID cards.
