IU BCL arranged concert against drug and militancy

A splendor concert against drug and militancy was held at Islamic University in Kushtia on Wednesday night.

Saddam Hossain Hall unit of the Islamic University Chhatra League organized the concert at Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman auditorium of the University, creating awareness among the youth against drugs and militancy.

IU vice-chancellor Prof Shaikh Abdus Salam inaugurated the event as a chief guest around 8:00 pm.

IU pro-vice-chancellor Prof M Mahbubur Rahman and treasurer Prof M Alamgir Hossain Bhuiya were present here as special guests with IU BCL President Faisal Siddike Arafat in the chair.

IU BCL unit secretary Nasim Ahmed Joy conducted the program while Saddam Hossain Hall provost Prof Asaduzzaman and IU Shapla Forum Secretary Prof Mamunur Rahman took part here, among others.

‘Band Neel’, ‘K.B Music of Astha’, ‘Wave the Band’ as well as the students of IU performed in the concert.

More than one thousand students of the university gathered at the venue to enjoy the show.
