Bangladesh steals a thrilling win against Zimbabwe

Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe in a last ball drama at the Brisbane Cricket Ground. Tigers beat Zimbabwe by 3 runs in the dramatic 28th match of the eighth T20 World Cup.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first against Zimbabwe.

Batting first, Bangladesh scored 150 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

For Bangladesh, Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 71 runs from 55 balls featuring seven fours and one six, Shakib Al Hasan scored 23 off 20 with one boundary, Afif Hossain scored 29 off 19 hitting one four and one six and Litton Das scored 14 off 12 with three fours.

For Zimbabwe, Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani bagged two wickets each while Sikandar Raza and Sean Williams took one wicket each.

To chase the target set by Bangladesh, Zimbabwe managed to score 147 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the 20 overs.

For Zimbabwe, Sean Williams scored 64 runs from 42 balls hitting 8 fours, Ryan Burl remained not out on 27 off 25, Regis Chakabva scored 15 off 19 while Craig Ervine and Milton Shumba scored 8 runs each.
