December. The month of victory. The month of our pride and glory. December, February, March; We have many emotions about these three months. During these three months, Bangladesh is full of festivities. We remember our achievements and progress in various events and colorful arrangements. But this December is different. A little bit of discomfort, a little bit of fear. I am noticing a tension in politics around BNP's rally in Dhaka on December 10. The people of the country already have so many things to worry about. Struggling to match income with expenses. Meanwhile, the people are a little surprised by the threats and counter-threats on December 10. BNP has been holding rallies in various divisional cities for the past few days. These rallies have energized BNP. By holding these rallies, BNP thinks that the fall of the government is only a matter of time. Even the secretary general of the party, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, "The government will not even get an escape route." But can the government be brought down by a hundred such rallies? Can these rallies of BNP be called movement? Are the people involved in these movements? Bangabandhu, the father of the nation, best understood the movement and struggle of Bangladesh. He has grown up through movements. He united disenfranchised people. He united the Bengali nation only through the movement. Bangabandhu made a historic comment on January 18, 1974 about the movement. On that day, he gave lessons on how to build a 'movement' in the council of Awami League. Bangabandhu said 'Movement is not a fruit of a tree. Movement cannot be achieved with words. Public opinion has to be created for the movement. A movement must have ideals. Movement requires selfless workers. There must be people who are willing to sacrifice. And above all, there needs to be an organized and united support of the people.'

If we compare this basic teaching of building a movement with the current situation, it will help us to understand whether there is a 'movement' in the country or not. Has BNP been able to create public opinion for the movement? BNP's gatherings are Biriyani Khichuri festival for leaders and activists. The general public is at a safe distance. What is the issue of BNP movement? Non-partisan neutral caretaker government. Do people have a headache about this? A few days ago, an occasional leader of BNP was saying that, 'Bangladesh's situation is worse than Sri Lanka'. Is that so? Then why are the people of Bangladesh not taking to the streets like the people of Sri Lanka? That is, BNP has not been able to create any public opinion in favor of their statement so far. Their claim of 'people are with us' is nothing but a farce to the common people of this country. The second condition of Bangabandhu's movement is 'ideal'. Even the BNP leaders are confused abut the idology of BNP. The ideal of Zia was to 'Make politics difficult'. Zia invented such a cocktail of black money, robber barons, terrorists, anti-independence in politics that now politics has become really difficult. Politics today is tough for honest and idealists. Swimming against the stream. It is now necessary not only for BNP but for all parties. After Zia, Begum Khaleda Zia came to lead BNP. Begum Zia's motto was 'Family First'. She made her family members ministers. She made her late retired army officer brother an MP and Shadow Defense Minister. Anointed her son as 'Prince'. She did not hesitate to make even servants MPs and political secretaries. She has made everyone in her family, even the far relatives, owners of thousands of crores of money. If the family is good then the team will be good. If the team is good, the country will be good. This was Begum Zia's ideal. BNP has moved away from this family first policy under Tarek Zia's rule. At present Begum Zia is the head of BNP only in name. The owner of real power is Tarek Zia. Tarek Zia's BNP ideology is 'money first'. Whatever you do, you will need money first. Money first in elections, movements, committees, lobbying, propaganda. In everything ‘money first’. This ideal has badly infected the BNP. BNP has now become a fairly financially self-sufficient party. Workers at different levels claim that they cannot be in any committee of BNP without paying money. A few days ago, after a long wait, the Chhatra Dal committee was announced. A list of who got which post for how much money was published in the media by those deprived of the post. I couldn't believe the amount of money. I asked a BNP leader in a whisper, Brother, surely these are rumours. The country is full of rumours.' What he replied made me dizzy. According to him, crores of money are payed in the police station committee of BNP. BNP is energized by the 'money first' policy. That is why the leaders are now trying to keep themselves visible. They give hot speeches in various seminars, round table gatherings. Their value increases. The workers come in hope of getting a post with cash check. What is the ideology of BNP? If the BNP comes to power, what will happen to the energy policy? What will happen to foreign policy? What changes will be made in financial management? How will the reins of defaulters be caught? What will be the steps of BNP to stop money laundering? No specific action plan or strategy paper of BNP is visible on these. BNP leaders are also criticizing the government. But the BNP leaders have forgotten the misdeeds of their time in power while criticizing the government. But they said nothing about the horrors of electricity when they were in power. BNP leaders are now talking a lot about money laundering. But nobody dared to admit the fact that their leader was the inventor of money laundering in Bangladesh. Bangladesh became the champion of corruption three times during the BNP-Jamaat alliance. When the party accuses the opponent of corruption, Rabindranath's line unknowingly comes to mind, 'If you are a saint, today I am a thief'. So how can a political party (or club) without ideals build a movement, this is the question of many. Another essential component of Bangabandhu's movement formula is the selfless worker. I don't want to write much about it. BNP rally was held in Comilla last Saturday. I saw in the newspaper that the mobile phones of 30 BNP leaders including Rumin Farhana were stolen. It should not be difficult for anyone to understand who or who has stolen the mobile. Leaders whose phones or valuables are not safe from employees cannot be said selfless no matter what. Now they are stealing mobile phones of leaders. If in power, they will steal Padma Bridge, Karnaphuli Tunnel. Therefore, the party that has been out of power for 16 years has not been able to match the features of building a movement. Self-satisfaction can be achieved by yelling or bullying but not a movement. The biggest proof that BNP has not been able to build a movement is the unnecessary, irrelevant heat spread over the venue of the rally in Dhaka. Why so determined about Naya Paltan? There is no logic in the explanation of BNP leaders in this matter, there is only stubbornness. I will hold a public meeting in Naya Paltan at any cost. The assembly will take place whether the government gives permission or not - words like that are not the language of politics. BNP leaders are determined to hold a rally in Paltan at any cost. So why did they go to the police commissioner of Dhaka to ask permission for the assembly and do a photo session? If BNP has so much public support, why should they approach the police for the rally? BNP can rally whenever and wherever they want if they truly believe that their rally will turn into a mass of people. In that case, they should be more encouraged to rally in Suhrawardy udyan. Does the BNP intentionally want to fight? They are trying to create a chaotic situation in Dhaka around December 10. They will clash with police or Awami League. Then some will die and that’s it. The movement will ignite like wildfire. Does the BNP want to win the movement in such a short-cut? I don't think so. I rather think that BNP is just a puppet in this movement game. The thread of BNP's movement is in someone else's hands. Or the situation of BNP is like 'Gani Mia' of our childhood textbook. ‘Gani Mia is a farmer who don’t have land of his own. So he cultivates on other people's land.’ BNP wants to create a situation for others. Someone has hired BNP to deliver crops to someone's house. Awami League should leave power - this is the only demand of BNP. Is BNP working as a partner to bring the third power by removing the Awami League? Who has the thread of BNP's movement? Bangladesh has now become a land of rumours. I myself hear many rumors. December 10 is International Human Rights Day. On the same day last year, the United States issued a ban on RAB. Everyone's main focus is on the BNP rally. But will there be any other events on December 10? Social media and some mainstream media are now competing. Attempts are being made to weaken the government by spreading rumors and half-truths about the failure of the government on various issues. This propaganda has now turned into a huge storm. Every day there is a tea circle, cocktail party or dinner party in the diplomatic quarter. There is now a light smile on the dirty face of civils. Does any third party want to take advantage of the conflict between Awami League and BNP? Even among bureaucrats, opportunists are now rehearsing impartial sentences. They are secretly criticizing the government. The excesses of overzealous police, disappearance case is actually a tool to achieve whose goal? What is the real game going on behind the scenes? Is there a silent arrangement to create a situation like one-eleven? These questions came to my mind recently after seeing the political strategies and speeches of the Prime Minister and Awami League President. For the past six months, the political power of the Prime Minister has been brought to the fore. She said, "It is our misfortune that there is no strong opposition party in Bangladesh." The Prime Minister welcomed the opposition movement. she has taken several initiatives to ensure that the BNP rally in Dhaka goes smoothly. Firstly, she brought forward the BCL conference by two days. So the BNP can make formal preparations including stage building and make the rally ground ready on December 10. Secondly, the Prime Minister has directed not to call a transport strike to facilitate the BNP rally. Thirdly, the Awami League president also told the party leaders to not hold any rally against this rally. Not just support for the BNP rally, Sheikh Hasina herself has taken the initiative to move the country towards sound politics. Public meeting in Jessore, public meeting in Chittagong on December 4 is a big proof of that. Sheikh Hasina cautioned that those who wants depoliticization should not be able to take advantage due to political turmoil. But does her team understand her strategy? Or they are intentionally trying to hurt the party? When the Awami League president advises not to call a transport strike. While the Awami League president is advising not to call a transport strike, a leader who invented the theory imported from Jasad that 'you can become a driver if you know cows and goats' is violating the Prime Minister's decision and is supporting the strike behind the scenes. How does he show this audacity? How does he show this audacity? Where did he get this courage from? Still, some Awami League leaders are playing war drums saying that they will suppress them. Whose interest is it for? One-eleven came in the plans of civilized and some western countries. But in its implementation, some opportunistic, idealistic leaders of both parties, Awami League and BNP, had a hand. Those who were the most combative in the field of politics at that time, they were the ones who put on a reformist facade. Are those fanatics still playing the same game? What will happen on December 10? In April 2004, Awami League's late leader Abdul Jalil presented the trump card. He announced the fall of the BNP-Jamaat coalition government on April 30. For this reason, Awami League held various programs continuously. 21st April was the program of encirclement of Hawa Bhavan. But the police blocked Banani and Gulistan with barricades. Awami League parliamentarians gave a memorandum to the Speaker on April 25. The BNP-Jamaat coalition government was also upset by the Trump card. Meanwhile, the then government started mass arrests. From April 24, Awami League held mass distrust program. On April 28 and 29, the Awami League observed a 48-hour hartal. But on April 30, the BNP-Jamaat coalition government remained in power. April 30, 2004 was a big joke in the politics of Bangladesh. Begum Zia also gave birth to many such jokes. In 2013 and 2014, she wanted to bring down the government. She announced that she would change the name of Gopalganj. In the movement of 2014, Begum Zia staged ‘Home Abandonment’ drama. She called for a continuous blockade on the anniversary of the January 5, 2013 elections. She came out of 'Firoza' at the party office in Gulshan and announced that she would not return home. During this time, there were many discussions about Begum Zia's movement. The number of frightened people was not small. But Begum Zia's ‘Home Abondonment’ play flopped. Till date, BNP has not officially withdrawn the continuous blockade program. Begum Zia's movement was on a bigger scale than BNP's rally play. The extent of the movement was also terrifying. Burning people with gunpowder. Burning cars, spreading terros. Vandalism. What did not happen at that time?

But the government did not fall at that time. Therefore, it can be assumed that there will be no divine revolution in BNP's Dhaka rally this time. Movement is not a talisman found in a dream, with which you can fulfill your desires instantly. But BNP, which has been out of power for 16 years, is now hungry. Thus they are trying to show a red card in the face of the government on December 10. This red card will be the same as trump card? But December 10 may open the tunnel of conspiracy. It could be the start of paving the way for a third force to come to power, If the BNP finally incites violence on December 10. If the hybrids, opportunists and conspirators who are running amok in the Awami League come into conflict with the BNP, the conspiracy will become terrifying. If violence ignites in politics on December 10, vested quarters are ready to spread that fire everywhere. Therefore, the Awami League and the law and order forces must obey Sheikh Hasina's instructions. One has to deal with the situation intelligently with caution. If not, politics and democracy will lose to the conspiracies of non-politics and non-politics. BNP has stepped into that trap. Can Awami League stay away?
