Safwan Sobhan awarded South Asia Business Partnership Award 2022

Vice Chairman of the Bashundhara Group Safwan Sobhan, has been awarded the South Asia Business Partnership Award 2022 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the social and business community. The award giving ceremony was held on February 10, 2023 (Friday) in a local hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal and was attended by top business leaders and influencers from across the region.

The former Minister of Urban Development of Nepal, Ram Kumari Jhakri MP was present as chief guest in the ceremony. Jeevan Ram Shrestha MP, the former Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal chaired the program. Also, Prem Ale Magar MP, Rama Ale Magar MP, Jai ram Thapa MP, Former Minister of Parliament Deepak Nirula, Freedom fighter of Bangladesh Mohammad Enamul Haque, Krishna Bahadur, Moti Eram Etani was present as special guest. The collaboration in the development of business and tourism was the key discussion in the ceremony.  The chief guest emphasized long-term business relationship planning development.  

The South Asia Business Partnership Award is a prestigious one in the business community and has been presented to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a commitment to excellence in their respective fields. Safwan Sobhan was selected for this award based on his track record of creating sustainable business growth, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the company.

Over the last two decades, Safwan Sobhan has been an enigma in the Bashundhara Group to lead from the front and established process and professionalism. Under his able leadership, the group has achieved significant growth and has established itself as a leader in a wide range of business and industrial ventures.

In recent years, Safwan Sobhan was recognized internationally on various occasions. Recently he received the prestigious “Grand Star of Success 2022” award in the “New Year Summit of Leaders” in UK. He has achieved the ‘Global Leader of the year 2021-22’ award in the 17th Edition of the Asia-Europe Business & Social Forum 2022 held in London. He also achieved ‘Top young taxpayer accolade in Bangladesh’ in 2022.
