Night & day temperature may rise slightly over country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted that weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

"Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country," said a met office bulletin.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over southern part of the country and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from midnight to tomorrow morning.

Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 29.5 degrees Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet Division while today's minimum temperature was recorded 09.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur.

The sun sets at 5.17pm today and rises at 6.38am tomorrow in the capital.
