Bhutan: Bangladesh's first friend

Bangladesh's victory was confirmed at the end of November. It was only a matter of time before our brave freedom fighters would fly the flag of independent-sovereign Bangladesh to their beloved motherland. The expatriate government of Bangladesh under the leadership of Tajuddin Ahmed was also informing the presence of Bangladesh in the international arena. It was at this time that the international recognition of an independent-sovereign Bangladesh became imperative as a result of the deployment of the Seventh Fleet. At the same time, Bhutan responded to the international recognition of Bangladesh. Bhutan recognizes Bangladesh. Bhutan is the first country to recognize Bangladesh as an independent country.
