Fugitive accused in multiple cases arrested from Rohingya camp

APBN police have arrested 32-year-old Rohingya robber Nur Ahmed, a fugitive accused in multiple cases, during a raid at Teknaf Jadimura Camp No. 27 in Cox's Bazar district.

He was arrested from the Rohingya camp area on Saturday night. The arrested Rohingya is the son of Lal Mia, a resident of Block-B11, FCN-28100 of the camp.

The matter has been confirmed by SP Tariqul Islam Tariq, Commander of 18 Armed Police Battalion (APBN).

Tariqul Islam said that on the basis of secret information, a team of APBN police from Jadimura camp conducted a raid on the camp and was able to arrest Rohingya robber Nur Ahmed.

There are several cases against the arrested person in the police station. He was handed over to Teknaf Model Police Station for legal action, said the APBN officials.
