The fourth day of the second and final Test of the two-match
Test series between host Bangladesh and visiting Pakistan is underway. Pakistan
won the toss and elected to bat. They declared their first innings on 300 runs
after lunch.
Pakistan lost two quick wickets at the beginning of their innings
on day four. Then Fawad Alam and Mohammad Rizwan displayed some solid batting.
After the fall of the fourth wicket for 196 runs, the two did not allow
Bangladesh to take any more wickets. They made an unbroken partnership of 103
runs on the fifth wicket.
Ebadat brought the first success of the day to Bangladesh
and picked up the wicket of Azhar Ali. Azhar's palm was caught by wicketkeeper
Liton Das while trying to pull. Before leaving, he scored 57 runs off 144 balls
hitting 6 fours.
Khaled Ahmed brought the second success for the team. Khaled
got the first wicket of his career in his third Test. Pakistan captain Babar
Azam returned to the dressing room with a great delivery lbw. Babar was
dismissed for 76 off 127 balls with 9 fours and 1 six.
