Court orders to stop battery powered easybikes and ban on imports

The High Court has ordered the closure of 4 million easybikes powered by acid batteries. At the same time, the court has banned the import and sale of these.

The High Court bench headed by Justice Mamnoon Rahman passed the order on Wednesday (December 15).
